Churchill’s Bomb is The Observer’s paperback of the week

The spy Klaus Fuchs is features strongly in Alexander Larman’s review of Graham’s latest book in this week’s Observer feature ‘Paperback of the week’.

 
Larman writes: ‘Farmelo excels … in depicting the scientists who form the core of his tale’, adding that ‘Farmelo keeps the emphasis firmly on the people involved – a section dealing with the treachery of the Soviet double agent Klaus Fuchs is particularly gripping and affecting’.
