CNN yesterday afternoon featured Graham’s Tweet about Louis Suarez’s preparations for his next World Cup match. The post was retweeted more than 500 times within 90 seconds of its first appearance and has since officially ‘gone viral’ (it has now been retweeted over 3,700 times). Graham does not usually comment on soccer news, so the 200 new followers he has acquired in the past twenty-four hours may have been a little surprised to read some of his subsequent posts, including one on the recently announced fermionic decays of the Higgs boson.

Graham was surprised by the popularity of the Suarez Tweet and thinks the world’s media may have been a bit harsh on the Uruguayan star – ‘all he wanted was a mid-game snack’.
